London Air Ambulance Charity

Swanlea Students Raise Over £2,300 for London’s Air Ambulance Charity

At Swanlea School, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and taking action to support those in need. Our incredible students have demonstrated this by raising an astonishing £2,328.46 for London’s Air Ambulance Charity, a vital service that provides critical, hospital-level treatment at the scene of serious emergencies across London.

A School-Wide Effort

From 27th January to 7th February, students from Year 7, Year 8, and Sixth Form took the initiative to organise a series of bake sales and stall sales during their break and lunch times. With enthusiasm and dedication, they set up stands filled with delicious homemade cakes, crisps, drinks, and other treats—encouraging both staff and students to contribute to this important cause.

Why London’s Air Ambulance Charity?

Every day, London’s Air Ambulance Charity saves lives by delivering highly specialised trauma doctors and paramedics to the most critically injured patients. Operating in one of the world’s busiest cities, they provide pre-hospital emergency medical care at the scene of serious incidents, ensuring that life-saving treatment is administered as quickly as possible. Their work is entirely reliant on donations, making fundraisers like ours incredibly important.

Swanlea Values in Action

This outstanding effort is a true reflection of our Swanlea Valuesdedication, kindness, and leadership. Our students not only worked tirelessly to organise and run the fundraising activities but also demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and teamwork in supporting a charity that plays a crucial role in saving lives.

A Huge Thank You!

We are immensely proud of each and every student who contributed their time, effort, and energy to making this fundraiser a success. A special thank you to our Year 7s, Year 8s, and Sixth Formers for their creativity and hard work in hosting these sales.

Their generosity will go a long way in helping London’s Air Ambulance continue its life-saving mission. Well done, Swanlea!
