Join Us at the 2025 Annual Parent Conference: Families Matter – Keeping Children Safe and Well
The Tower Hamlets Parent and Family Support Service warmly invites parents and carers to attend this year’s Annual Parent Conference, a key event focused on supporting families in keeping children safe and well in today’s ever-changing world.

🎟 How to Book
Places are limited and booking is essential.

Schools with a Service Level Agreement with the Parental Engagement Team may submit up to two booking forms (maximum 8 attendees).

All other schools are welcome to submit one booking form (up to 4 attendees).

Deadline for bookings: Friday 13th June at 2:00pm

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
🗣 Keynote Address
The conference will open with a keynote speech from the Education Safeguarding Service on the topic:
“Parents as Guardians of Children’s Rights: Keeping Our Children Safe Offline and Online.”
This vital discussion will focus on the digital and real-world risks children face and how parents can actively safeguard their rights and wellbeing.
💬 Interactive Workshops
Parents will have the opportunity to participate in engaging workshops delivered by the Parental Engagement Team and partner services such as:

Community Safety

The Exploitation Team

Violence Against Women and Girls Team
These sessions will explore themes raised in Netflix’s recent series Adolescence, focusing on real-life issues facing young people today.
🧩 Information Marketplace
Throughout the morning, parents and school staff can browse the information marketplace, where a variety of services and partner organisations will be available at stalls to offer advice, resources and support.
☕ Refreshments Provided
All attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and a light lunch during the event.
