This year’s Sports Day took place at Mile End Stadium, where students, staff and supporters enjoyed a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and school spirit. With temperatures soaring and the sun shining throughout the day, it was certainly one of our hottest Sports Days yet! Despite the heat, our students rose to the challenge, stayed hydrated, looked after one another and gave every event their all.
From exciting sprint races and relay events to field competitions, the energy remained high from start to finish. Students demonstrated determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship, encouraging their teammates and celebrating each other’s successes. It was inspiring to see so many students stepping out of their comfort zones, pushing themselves to achieve their personal best and embracing every challenge with enthusiasm.
A special thank you goes to Mr Moura and Ms Coulson, who were the driving force behind the day’s proceedings. Their enthusiasm, organisation and constant encouragement kept the event running smoothly, ensured everyone knew where they needed to be, and maintained an incredible atmosphere throughout the day. Their energy was truly infectious and helped make Sports Day such an enjoyable experience for everyone.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our PE department, whose hard work, planning and dedication made the event such a memorable success. From organising the competitions to supporting students throughout the day, their commitment ensured that Sports Day was a celebration of participation, achievement and community.
Congratulations to every student who took part. Your determination, teamwork and positive attitude made us incredibly proud, and we are already looking forward to another fantastic Sports Day next year.
