The Department for Education have released their secondary school performance data for 2023.
This information compares and ranks all the schools in the country based on the progress that students make whilst in 11-16 education.
Swanlea is delighted to say our Progress 8 score of +1.27 means that we are the 3rd best school in the country for the progress of disadvantaged pupils and also the 21st best school in the country overall.
As well as being the top school in Tower Hamlets for attendance and progress, Swanlea is now proud to be one the highest achieving institutions in the UK.
Our Headteacher, Ms. Landers had this to say, ‘This superb accomplishment is a testimony to the efforts of our wonderful pupils, parents / carers and amazing staff.’
