Thousands Raised for Cambodian School Build

Swanlea School pupils and staff have raised over £16,000 to build a school in Cambodia. The funds which were donated by pupils and their parents, together with staff at the school, were transferred to the educational charity, United World Schools (UWS) so construction could commence in 2019.

The build is now complete and the school opened officially on Monday 13th January 2020. A government official was there to cut the ribbon and the whole community celebrated with a party! UWS then started lessons in our school later that week.
