Achievement Points

Personal Development

This term in Tutor Time, our Year 9s have been buzzing with meaningful discussions and activities that build confidence, character, and community. They explored the importance of positive relationships—looking at family, respect, and how to recognise healthy and unhealthy behaviours—before developing practical conflict‑management skills. Pupils also broadened their understanding of diversity by learning about different religious groups across the UK. More recently, they have taken part in vital sessions on staying safe, covering topics such as gangs, knife crime, substance abuse, drugs and the law, and the power of group think. Alongside all of this, Year 9 have continued to prepare for their upcoming GCSE journey, laying strong foundations for their Option C and RE examinations in Year 10. It’s been an inspiring term of growth, awareness and focused preparation for our Year 9 cohort!
